چکیده
In this paper, we try to contribute the distribution theory literature by incorporating a new bounded distribution, called unit generalized inverse Weibull (UGIWD) in (0, 1) intervals transformation method. The proposed exhibits increasing and bathtub shaped hazard rate function. We derive some basic statistical properties of distribution. Based on complete sample, model parameters are obtained methods maximum likelihood, least square, weighted percentile, product spacing Cram`er-von-Mises compared them using Monte Carlo simulation study. addition, bootstrap confidence based aforementioned estimation also obtained. illustrate performance means one real data set shows that is more appropriate as Birnbaum-Saunders, gamma, Weibull, Kumaraswamy Burr III distributions. Further, construct chi-squared goodness-of-fit tests for UGIWD right censored Nikulin-Rao-Robson (NRR) statistic its modification. criterion test used modified Y^2, developedby Bagdonavi?ius Nikulin, 2011 parametric models when censored. performances shown an intensive study application

Chi-Square Test for Goodness of Fit
Scientists often use the Chi-square (χ) test to determine the “goodness of fit” between theoretical and experimental data. In this test, we compare observed values with theoretical or expected values. Observed values are those that the researcher obtains empirically through direct observation. The theoretical or expected values are developed on the basis of an established theory or a working hy...
متن کاملQuantum Chi-squared and Goodness of Fit Testing
A quantum mechanical hypothesis test is presented for the hypothesis that a certain setup produces a given quantum state. Although the classical and the quantum problem are very much related to each other, the quantum problem is much richer due to the additional optimization over the measurement basis. A goodness of fit test for i.i.d quantum states is developed and a max-min characterization f...
متن کاملChi-squared Goodness of Fit Test for Generalized Birnbaum-saunders Models for Right Censored Data and Its Reliability Applications
Generalized Birnbaum-Saunders (GBS) distributions are proposed by Díaz-García et al. ([15], [16]) based on the family of elliptically contoured univariate distributions. This model is well-known as the highly flexible lifetime model by the difference in the degrees of kurtosis and asymmetry and processes uni-modality and bimodality. In this paper, a modifier Chi-squared goodness-of-fit test bas...
متن کاملA Chi-Squared Goodness of Fit Test for Recurrent Event Data
Goodness of fit of the distribution function governing the time to occurrence of a recurrent event is considered. We develop a chi-squared type of test (henceforward called R test) based on a nonparametric maximum likelihood estimator (NPMLE) of the inter-event time distribution for recurrent events. The test compares a parametric null to the NPMLE over k partitions of a calendar time over the ...
متن کاملThe new generalized inverse Weibull distribution
Failure rate is one of the important concepts in reliability theory. In this paper, we introduce a new distribution function containing four parameters based on inverse Weibull distribution. This new distribution has a more general form of failure rate function. It is able to model five ageing classes of life distributions with appropriate choice of parameter values so that it is displayed decr...
